SwiftLink® Operation & Maintenance User Training

Hiring and training technical staff to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot your deployable communications systems is critical to mission success.

TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) offers SwiftLink® Operation and Maintenance User Training to provide the conceptual knowledge and practical experience necessary for the administration of the TCS deployable communications system. Instruction is provided on the architecture, features, and environment for the system; and call-flow schematics and block diagrams are reviewed in detail. Functional classroom demonstrations provide a sense of the system's capabilities and the scope of its administration.

Training Objectives

Instructions on configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the systems are reinforced with practical, hands-on experience. On completion of the course students can:

• Describe the basic features and capabilities of the system
• Describe the hardware and software architecture used in the implementation
• Describe the basic signal flow
• Understand how the SwiftLink System is installed and set-up
• Administer the SwiftLink System
• Perform appropriate operator maintenance and troubleshooting procedures

Media and Prerequisites

TCS' proven course utilizes classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises:

• Classroom materials include a Student CD and course binder of training slides
• A proxima and SwiftLink Kit are required (to be provided by the customer)

Duration and Price

TCS' courses range from two to five days of instruction depending on the lesson plan. Classes are available in the TCS University classroom facility, upon request.
